Glass of milky spiced tea
🇩🇯 Djibouti City
In Djibouti, where French, Somali, Arab, and Afar cultures meet, tea leans milky and sweet: black tea simmered directly in milk with cardamom, cinnamon, and cloves. Served in glasses at roadside cafés against the searing coastal heat, shaah bil caano is a small, sustaining ritual of the day.
