Golden pan-fried cheese-stuffed flatbread
🇲🇩 Chișinău
Plăcinte are the stuffed pastries of Moldova and Romania, thin dough wrapped around a filling — most classically salty brânză cheese — then pan-fried or baked until golden. Sold warm at markets and made in home kitchens, plăcintă cu brânză is a satisfying, portable breakfast eaten with a glass of milk.
