Glass of clear palm spirit with lime
🇹🇬 Lomé
Sodabi is the distilled palm wine of Togo and Benin, a strong, aromatic spirit poured at ceremonies and libations to honor the ancestors. Served neat by tradition, it also makes a bracing cocktail cut with lime and a little sugar over ice — smoky, sharp, and unmistakably West African.
