Bread roll with peanut butter and red sambal
🇸🇷 Paramaribo
Suriname's food is a crossroads of West African, Javanese, Indian, and Dutch tables, and its everyday breakfast shows it: a fresh puntje (bread roll) loaded with rich peanut butter and a bold smear of chili sambal. The clash of creamy, sweet, and blazing hot is pure Paramaribo.
