Glass of cold savory yogurt drink
🇦🇲 Yerevan
Tan is the savory yogurt drink of Armenia, matsun (Armenian yogurt) thinned with cold water and salt into a tangy, cooling refresher. Poured alongside grilled meats and khorovats or drunk on its own in the heat, it is thirst-quenching, probiotic, and central to the Armenian table.
